From the east
From Vienna (B17) to Wiener Neustadt – on the B54 to the junction with S6 – on the S6 via Bruck an der Mur – becomes the S36. The S36 joins the B96 as far as Scheifling, where the B96 becomes the B83. This leads to Klagenfurt, along the Wörthersee to Villach, where it joins the B100 – to Spittal/Drau. From Spittal take the B99 – to Radenthein/Döbriach – Millstätter See (turn left).

From the south
From Udine on the S13 via Tarvisio to the Austrian border, where the S13 joins the B83. Continue along B83 to Villach/Warmbad – then on the B86 to Untere Fellach. Take B100 to Spittal/Drau. From Spittal take B99 – to Radenthein/Döbriach – Millstätter See (turn left).

From the west
At Innsbruck take the B182 that becomes the S12 at the Brenner. Continue to the junction with the S49/E66. Here take the S49 to the Austrian border, where the S40 becomes the B100 – to Spittal/Drau. From Spittal take the B99 – Radenthein/Döbriach – Millstätter See (turn left).

From the north
Along the A8 from Munich until just before Föching. Then take the B318 that becomes the B307. Across the Austrian border the B307 becomes the B181 – to the junction with the B171 – to Wörgl. After Wörgl take the B40 that joins the B312. After Going take the B161 (direction Kitzbühel). At Mittersill take the B108 to Lienz. In Lienz take the E66/B100 to Spitttal/Drau. From Spittal take the B99 – Radenthein/Döbriach – Millstätter See (turn left).
